The world of logos is full of varieties in terms of designs. They are created to represent companies, products or services as well as the values a business owner stands for. Once launched, logos work by creating an impression on the targeted audience and makes the loyal to the company.
There are different types of logos and you should be choosing the right one for your business.
Text Logo – This type of logo consists of text by using fonts to design a company name and a slogan. These are simple logos since there is usually only the use of fonts. Google, Microsoft, Ford etc logos are good examples of text logos. You should opt for text logo when you wish to project your company name prominently in the logo for some reasons.
Symbol Logo – These logos have a symbol that can represent values of its organisation or company. The designer takes care that the symbol can perfectly represent your company’s values such as strength, aggressiveness, honesty etc. The one image in the logo is everything to the company. Examples of such logos include that of Apple, Nike, Addidas, UNICEF and UNO.
Combination Logo – A combination of text and symbol is also commonly found in several logo designs. These are useful logo for not only telling the company’s name but also putting some symbol that represent the core values of the company. This is a strong logo to convey a message to the audience.
You can choose any logo as per your design requirement but make sure that the logo design is simple. Combination logo does not mean that there should be use of many complicated elements. Instead, keep the design attractive by using as little elements as you can. Only a simple design of logo can communicate effectively with the audience.
