    This is a scratch-made deli serving custom-crafted sandwiches. We are a blend of historic and modern. We want to portray that history and modern feel as well as quality, craftsmanship and passion.

    I do not have a clear idea of what I want, which is why I am here, but I will list some things I do like as well as some things I do not want. I expect the logo to be able to go on a polo style shirt for my employees as well as on a sticker to put on to-go bags and boxes.

    Things I do like:
    I had originally just wanted a caricature of a big thick new york style reuben sandwich (cut in half) with a pickle spear. I am open to that idea still, but not sold on it anymore.
    I do like the abstract kind of logos.
    Other than that, I really dont know, sorry if Im not giving you much to work with, but feel free to ask questions.

    back of business card could be:
    an old black and white picture with writing (plaque) or logo over it (could use attachment names deli counter 3 or find a better one for me)
    a plaque like design with name, est. 2017, a slogan we decide on, etc.
    or surprise me, youre the expert, not me

    What I do NOT want:
    Please no forks, knives, spoons, cups of coffee, serving trays, plates, etc. I am not a restaurant, I am a deli
    Some cartoon face stuffing a sandwich in his/her mouth
    I dont want anything with a scottie dog. I dont want people associating my food with dog food :)
    I dont want a logo that has to be in color. It can have color, but it needs to be able to be black and white too.
    I will likely not do glossy cards, if I do it will be a real light gloss, so keep that in mind
    Do not put dark lettering on dark backgrounds


    Customers are mainly business professionals 25-55 during the day and hip 20- and 30- somethings on nights and weekends.
