    We (12 of us) are child and family psychologists/therapists in a wealthy area near Washington DC. I need a new logo for us to put into our new website (it's already up, but with our old dandelion logo). Our offices are crisp, friendly midcentury modern (west elm, CB2) with abstract art. Orange, mustard, deep red, avocado, teal, gray, fuchsia, purple, always some WHITE, with mid-century colors.
    I want to use my last name, Weaver, as a kind of riff for the logo. An abstract logo, but with a hint of "weaving" in it, nothing too obvious. Weaver is my name, but also we conceptually weave together with the child, teen, and parents, working together to make something lovely. I would like to either use an abstract version of the W for some kind of "weaving" look. Or I am also open to it just being a "weave" shape above our name (all in lower case, I like the west elm font). I'd like the weave to be soft around the corners, not hard. I would like there to be white space inside the logo with the "weaves," so it looks good in color but also is a great shape that pops in black on white, and esp. white on dark colors. The colors should be clean and crisp, no shadowing to give depth, I'd rather it was more flat. I like the logo I picked from this website where the W looks woven and a bit like a paperclip :), but with color woven in. maybe more weaves.
    The website is weaverandassociates.net and except for the banner/new logo it's set. The colors on the "therapists" page and the little mark when you go to the website are good ones (its a piece of a weave and I like it a lot). I am highly invested in this and plan to give feedback and do my part to get the right logo. Obviously our industry isn't "Art and Design" but i don't want a "medical" looking logo, I want something very clean and abstract. If its great and you are the right design fit, we will order more design services.
