Campus Connectr

I need a logo for my product/service called Campus Connectr. Note that Connectr does not include the last “o”. Campus Connectr is a software product delivered as a service to colleges, community colleges and universities. I am a software start-up so the logo needs to have clean lines, etc. but I don't want it "over the top" techie. Campus Connectr will be marketed to college and university administrators. I need a logo that is sophisticated and contemporary with clean lines, etc.

What I am looking for has the following characteristics:
1) it includes the words Campus Connectr in a contemporary font. The final “r” may be a small letter or capitalized (not sure, depends on the look). Probably the two words would be on separate lines. The “C”s may overlap or not depending on the look.
2) There should be a “TM” in smaller font size after the “r” or “R” in Connectr to identify it as a Trademark.
3) The logo may or may not contain a graphic depending on whether the logo looks better with the graphic or not. What I am thinking as a graphic would be a mortarboard (the hat worn at graduation that has a square vertical “board” at the top with a tassel) that is a very simple stylized line drawing probably primarily with straight lines and probably not including the part of the mortarboard hat that rests on the head.
4) The logo should be such that it can appear on a website, business cards, stationary, emails, etc. – it should be flexible in terms of size.
5) I'd like the logo to take 2 forms: one with a solid, probably red or rich blue, background with Campus Connectr in white font and white graphic (if one is included) and the other having the same font/graphic in the color of the background of the first with no background. I will need you to provide the logo in both forms. Probably show me the solid background in your submissions – when we get close to agreeing on the logo I will ask for the inverse.
6) The background/text color should not be a primary color but should be “rich” and easily reproducible.
