VISUAL MOTION MEDIA meets MYSTIC ENLIGHTENMENT! Logo needed!

I am a film & video director and editor in need of a logo for my umbrella brand, which I have named "Gazing Point" - it's under this brand I will construct a formal business portfolio for finding new work. I need a logo that represents me as a person as much as it represents my business.

Because I work in video, this logo will likely be manipulated to "animate in" for my production slate — so emblems, illustrations, graphical content, will all be stronger as a production slate logo on the screen, rather than logos that rely solely on typography. I need a visual logo for a visual medium!

WHAT I NEED:
I need a logo that will capture and communicate the values and philosophy of my work. I don't need it to communicate "what I do" but moreso "how I do it." As a filmmaker, I must parse relevant information from my clients or from a script, I need to be able to accurately spin raw information from a consult into a cohesive story and also develop a plan for transforming that story or concept into a video, from pre to post-production. I believe in listening, observing, understanding perspectives; understanding a key need of a business or individual and addressing that need by anticipating audience reaction from a video. It's not filmmaking, it's video portraiture. That's what I do.

DESIGN ELEMENTS TO CONSIDER:
-Visual puns
-Vector shapes
-Abstraction
-Vector illustrations
-Positive/Negative space
-Color! Not afraid of color, I like color!

HOW THE LOGO SHOULD 'FEEL'
Feelings of focus, effortlessness, cleverness, communication, enlightenment, attention, gaze, power, knowledge, understanding. Even though this is a video production company, it's all about HOW I approach each project, not necessarily the medium itself the project is presented on, that matters. I need the logo to make an impression beyond just "I do videos," it has to be viscerally striking so clients have an icon or emblem appropriate to associate my work with.

WORK EXAMPLES:
The following are samples of projects I've directed, worked as cinematographer on, or edited, sometimes all three, to give you an understanding of my style of visual tempo and editing technique. In some cases you may see old logos (Tom Galang Films) or logos of companies I was contracted to make a video for (GLA, Denoyer Geppert, etc). I need something that would bridge all of these productions together under a common umbrella brand —?'Gazing Point'

ABOUT ME/THE COMPANY
Gazing Point was created so I could brand my video services under a legal name. Grace under pressure is a key concept, I like to remain calm through times of chaos, which happens often on set and on location. I believe in telling stories as an artform, and I believe in the power of stories. I offer video production services to small businesses, individuals, and for independent films.

ABOUT THE NAME 'GAZING POINT'
A "gazing point" or "drishti" is a term often used in meditation and yoga — it's a specific focal point we direct our gaze toward. As we look, our attention is appointed, and the quality of the gaze is a reflection of the quality of our thoughts. This is a great analogy for video — in 30 seconds if you can inform the quality of a person's gaze, you can inform the quality of that person's thoughts. Video is a powerful tool for creating impressions!
