    Star Bear Studios is an independent game company creating new and exciting worlds for players to interact with. These experiences will be developed first in both physical and digital games (Board Games and Video Games) and then move into other media like comic books, TV, movies, etc, when they find their fan base and gain popularity. This is why we went with studios in the name rather than specify just games.

    We want the logo to embody creativity, imagination, "cool factor", excitement, and power. We would love it if the design we've been exploring could be taken to another level by a professional who has the art skills to do a more dynamic bear image with a blazing star for the eye (or another creative idea that merges the two together).

    A bit of insight into the name itself. The company is based in San Diego California. In founding it, we are taking a step toward independence. For over 20 years working for major game studios on major licenses, it feels like the right time to try and make our mark. When California first declared independence, it devised a flag with a star and a bear on it. So, the act of forming an independent studio here influenced the name.

    The bear can be fierce or stoic. It does not have to have its mouth open, in other words.
