    Get Stitch Done is a quilt finishing service out of the Greater Seattle Area. When you think of a quilter, you may think of a little old lady lovingly hand sewing an heirloom for months at a time. While that is nice and all, that isn't me. I'm a 30-something mother and a full-time marketing professional in the technology industry that happened in to quilting during her maternity leave. I absolutely love quilts, but I would never consider myself an artist. I look at quilts as puzzles and find serenity in putting them all together. I have a 14-foot, industrial strength longarm quilting machine (picture included in contest attachments) that finishes other peoples' quilts with digitized and robotic designs. I take others' quilt tops, then add the batting and backing and stitch a robotic design to finish it all off.

    Get Stitch Done is simply a play on "Get Sh** Done."

    I'm targeting quilters that need help:
    - the savvy hobbyist,
    - the working mother that doesn't have time to do it all,
    - the yuppie that loves handmade items,
    - the crafting & locally made community.

    With this logo, I'm looking for clean and modern. With that said, however, we do need to convey that this is a quilting business. When thinking about imagery, I would suggest referencing the contest attachments below. This is an image of my longarm quilting machine, as well as some sample quilt patters that it stitches out robotically. Maybe this can be conveyed with an image of a longarm? Or perhaps stylized stitches that serve as an emblem to a modern font with the logo?

    For font, I am also looking for clean and modern. Sharp edges. No shadows.

    For background, white.

    For color, would like to be vibrant and fun. I love red and orange. My business partner loves robin's egg blue.

    I would suggest the idea of stitches. In the attachments below, I provide a few examples of simple robotic designs. Perhaps elements of these could be designed as a stylized stitch on the logo? When I say stylized stitch, please reference the "Big Rig Quilting" logo attachment. Not sure if that is perfect, but an idea. Other options are to stylize a sewing needle or even find an icon of sorts to illustrate what a longarm machine actually is.
