**no crosses or bibles in logo please**
** I have uploaded a photo of our recently renovated sanctuary - warm, earthy**
1. We are a non-denominational Christian church in Murrieta, California (Southern California, inland valley), that observes the 7th day Sabbath. Murrieta is a city of 100,000+, but has a rural, country feel.
2. Our byline/slogan is "Keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ"
3. We are a small, friendly church congregation. Our sanctuary is very warm, inviting and a modern country feel.
4. We live in a valley surrounded by mountains. Our name, Rock Valley came from the fact that we live in a valley, there are a lot of rocks on the mountains and hills here, also the play on Jesus being the Rock.
5. We like our current logo, but want a re-design.
a. There have to be mountains in our logo and we like our current mountains, but are willing to consider other options with the mountains. The 'broken' mountain effect does not need to stay. (Consider our mountains as the apple in the Apple Computer logo. The apple always stays, but it doesn't always look the same.)
b. The graphic on the bottom of our current logo was representative of the lake in Lake Elsinore, California, where we started our church. We are no longer in Lake Elsinore, but are in the same valley. We don't need the lake to be represented.
c. We want a stronger font than the Papyrus we currently have.
6. We want a logo that looks good in color and black & white. We are partial to warm earth tones, rusty brown would be a favorite, and don't really have another favorite option, but are open to what looks good.
7. We do not want a cross or a bible on our logo. Our name itself defines that we are Christian and a church.
8. Our website is www.rvcc.co
9. We are currently redesigning our website!
