    What ideas do you have for the style/theme of your blog design?
    Hi fellow designers,

    I'm Nicolas Duval, owner and manager of SmokableHerbs.com, a repertory of legal psychoactive plants you can either smoke or drink as herbal tea.

    I'd like to have a new homepage design.

    Design:
    I'd like to have beige, brown and light green touches of colors.

    Current homepage is kinda old school, and I'd prefer something modern, original yet professional.
    I'm pretty open minded.

    Current sections of the homepage are:
    Recent articles
    Social media and subscribe
    Introduction
    Category breakdown (depressant, stimulant, hallucinogen)
    Most popular article
    Comments (don't worry about it)

    I'd like to keep at least the intro, categories breakdown and most popular articles.

    It's a UX/Design challenge. We listed around 22 plants, so it's kinda hard to fit them all in the homepage. (and I don't want that anyway, that would be a mess)

    Our ultimate goal is to increase page views and ease navigation. Oh and have a kick-ass homepage too.

    Divi theme is pretty cool and flexible, I'll probably use that.
    What would you like on each page?
    The homepage:

    I expect it to be clean and natural. Guide the user. Let them discover stuff.
    List any colors, themes or other elements that you don't want included.
    Fear of trying something original.
    Small fonts.
    Mobile unfriendly features.
    Is there anything else you would like to communicate to the designers?
    Categories are important to guide users.
    Most popular articles are great to know what's trending.
