Pomelo is a digital marketing agency that focuses on SEO, CRO, and web design. Many of you probably know that Pomelo is basically a fruit. Much like peeling Pomelo, digital marketing is difficult. That is why the brand peels back the layers and makes it easy for other companies to enjoy the fruits of marketing efforts through a simple and results-driven approach.
Keeping all this in mind, the winning designer created a logo in the form of a Pomelo fruit. In the center of the icon, they have created a bar graph which depicts that the brand can help other businesses to increase their sales. Wow!!
The brand name had been placed adjacent to the icon. Taking about the colors, well, the designer used a lot of orange color as the color denotes creativity. The client received 191 designs for the contest, out of which, this design was chosen as the winner.

02. Whaley Fit
Just like the name, Whaley fit is a physical fitness brand. The client had launched a contest for logo design. While posting the contest, the client clearly mentioned that they want an Orca whale and weight plate to be incorporated in their logo design.
The requirement may seem to be simple, but it was not easy to implement it. The winning designer beautifully incorporated every demanded element in the design, making it a memorable logo in the industry. And this is what any brand wants from its logo design.
The client received 180 entries for the contest, but it was ‘Ahmad Fahrur Rozi’ who took home the winning award.
03. The Holy Grill
The Holy Grill is an American restaurant that sells shawarma with fresh fast food and also hosts an awesome salad bar. Since the brand planned to franchise their restaurant, therefore, they wanted to have a logo that is not only memorable but also looks modern and chic.
While posting the contest, the client clearly mentioned that they want their logo to evoke the feeling of serving fresh and high-quality food to their customers. The client receives 140 designs, out of which this design was chosen as the winner. The design is simple, modern, and luxurious and looks great as a packaging design too. Isn’t it?

04. Twin Arch Farm
Twin Arch Farm falls under the weed/marijuana industry. The brand is into growing, producing, and selling three different flavors of hemp flowers and pre-rolls. The client raised a requirement for label design. At the front of the packaging, the winning designer has cleverly divided the image and information section.
All the elements are perfectly placed, and you cannot find anything superfluous in the design. The same thing goes with the backside design. Everything is designed and placed beautifully and perfectly. The product is surely going to attract the target audience and stand out on the shelf space. What do you think?
05. Hawksbill Bar & Grill
Hawksbill Bar & Grill is a restaurant that is located in a Marina in a beach island town. The client had launched a contest for a logo design. While posting the contest, the client mentioned that they want to have an image of a Hawksbill (sea turtle) in the design.
The winning designer followed the instructions and came up with this design. To make the logo unique and catchy, the designer has drawn an image of a beach on the upper shell of a turtle. Even if someone doesn’t know where the restaurant is located, they can easily judge by looking at the logo. The design will look great on business cards and crockery.
06. Call Me Leader
Call me a leader is a sales and marketing training, accountability, and coaching platform that helps entrepreneurs to exponentially rocket lead generation and sales via LinkedIn, without expensive ads or cold calls.
The designer has created an icon featuring a telecaller along with the LinkedIn logo. The brand name and company slogan have been placed adjacent to the icon. Out of 243 designs, it was ‘Soetysna’ who took home the winning award.
07. Seminole Wind’s Country Kitchen
Seminole Wind’s is a southern buffet restaurant that serves farm-fresh food. The brand also serves crispy fried chicken and a variety of southern dishes, including banana pudding and cobbler. The client had launched a contest for logo and business card design.
They wanted their logo to be simple and classic. This is what the client chose as the best design, and we choose it as one of the ‘Best 11 at Designhill’ for November.
08. South Hawk Farm
South Hawk Farm produces infused and barrel-aged maple syrup. Keeping in mind the nature of the business, the designer has used an image of a barrel that has maple leaves above it. The image is placed inside a circle.
The upper half of the circle contains the name of the product, and the lower part contains the brand name. Overall, the design is perfectly conveying the brand’s message. The design will look great on the brand’s social media pages and marketing materials.
09. Barry’s Berries
Berry’s Berries is a family farm that grows blueberries and strawberries. The client had launched a contest for logo design. In the design brief, they had mentioned that they want to create custom t-shirts and hats for their dad’s 80th birthday. And for that, they need a business logo.
The winning designer created a circular shaped logo. In the upper half of the logo, the designer had placed the images of blueberries and strawberries, and in the lower half, they had written the brand’s slogan ‘Milford Farms, Texas.’ The brand name had been positioned in the centre of the circle.
10. Malu Lani Inn
Malu Lani Inn is an island-based small hotel located in southern Florida. The brand caters to fishermen with nice boats and to people escaping the cold weather during winters. The client had launched a contest for a logo design that was going to be used on their website, stickers, business cards, letterheads, and other marketing materials.
The client wanted to have a logo that looks classy and original, and clearly displays the image of the ‘Mulu Lani Inn.’ Although the client received many entries for the contest, it was ‘Jennyn Dayana Marcano’ who took home the winning award.
11. Allergies Without Boundaries
Allergies Without Boundaries is a travel blog that shares how to experience the world without being hacked by food allergies. The design created by the winning designer is very creative, unique, and interesting. In the center of the logo, the designer had created a blinking smiley face, which is also an image of a plate.
The left eye is created with a fork, and the right eye is created with a knife. The image of the knife has been dragged a little bit to create an image of a close eye. A smiley has been created by showing a flying plane.
To give a finishing look, the designer has drawn a thin lined circle around the smiley / plate. The first half of the brand is written on the top of the image, and the second half is written at the bottom of the image. Even after receiving many great designs, the client chose this design as the winning one.
