#DOTM Designer of the Month – Who is it? We are here to announce the winner of our monthly contest “Best 11 at Designhill” for the month of February. Every month we present to you the top 11 designers who submit their best logo designs for their respective contests in the month. You, who are the members of the community, vote for their favourite designer. Whosoever wins the contest gets a chance to get feature-coverage on our blog and social media platforms.

The job of a graphic designer is not as easy as it seems. It takes a lot of passion, consideration, and planned execution to create an extraordinary design that wins the heart of the client. Designhill’s graphic designers are known for their professionalism and high-level skills. They not only earn handsome money from their projects but also receive a lot of appreciation from their clients.

01. Happy Flour Bakery

Just like the name, the designer has used the image of flour that has been cut from the top to give a happy impression. The best thing about the logo is that the designer has made use of rolling pin to incorporate Bakery. LLC.

Though the design looks simple, it is perfectly portraying that the brand sells fresh and quality baked goods.

02. Cleveland Studio

Dennis Cole was very clear about what he wanted in his logo design. He very beautifully briefed the design requirements. Since the brand is a music studio for instrumental learning, music theory, and arts, the professional designer has given a look and feel of the stage with the spotlight.

The name of the brand has found a very clever placement. Overall, the designer has succeeded in conveying the brand message perfectly.

03. Loudermilk Hobby Farm

The logo is for a domestic farm that deals with raw honey, organic eggs, homemade baked goods and much more. The designer came up with the design that clearly specifies the nature of the business.

There were 154 design entries from different graphic designers, but Elana Dumitru stood as the winner and took home the winner’s award.

04. AquaApproach

Cleverly designed, yet simple and catchy – this is what best describes this logo. The designer has chosen the wordmark logotype.

Since the brand is into water treatment, the designer has used a water drop sign to highlight the letter ‘A’ and specify the nature of the business.

05. Elite Performance Therapy

The requirement made by the client was little technical, and it was not easy to fulfil. All the designers have come up with the best designs, but Elana Dumitru stood as a winner and took home the winner’s award.

The logo clearly represents confidence, simplicity, exclusiveness, and expertise. And this what the client wanted.

06. Conrad Farms

What a great design – cool, classic, and vintage with a touch of modernity! The company was founded in 1840. The designer has beautifully portrait the scene of a farm in the logo design.

The initials of brand name appears above the design so that the logo looks great in marketing materials like brochures, letterheads, business cards, etc.

07. Backcountry Bagel

The creative touch given to the logo makes the brand stand apart from its competitors. The brand is based out of Carbondale – the town that is in Roaring Fork Valley. The area has plenty of Aspen trees which particularly get noticed in the fall when the leaves turn bright golden yellow.

Keeping all these elements in mind, the designer has come up with an outstanding logo design that creates a distinct brand identity. Out of 114 entries, Alek_h has been selected as the winner.

08. Bascule

Bascule is a marketing firm. While posting the contest, Stephanie E Inglis clearly specified that she wanted to have a jumping horse (BASCULE) in the logo design.

The designer has read the design guide briefly and came up with a design that reflects the brand is for upper-middle class professionals (which the brand is for).

09. Southern Serenity Yoga

The logo has been designed for the Yoga training school. The designer, Radicaldesign, came up with the design that clearly reflects what the brand is all about. A single figure sitting the yoga pose has been put inside the chakra.

The brand name appears outside the icon. When it comes to color, Purple is the choice for the design to represent transformation and spiritual awareness. Overall, the design is simply outstanding. What do you think?

10. Moat

Moats are basically wide ditch that is build to surround the castle or fort with the intent to defend against attack. Just like the name, the brand ‘Moat’ is a tech company for uploading and securing valuables to the cloud. The designer very cleverly created an icon by using the image of moats with an ‘M’ on it.

The brand name’s placement is just outside the icon. There were 172 entries from different designers. Although all the designs were unique, Sanaga took home the winner’s award.

11. Cannon’s Lawn Care

The creative touch given to the logo makes the brand stand apart from its competitors. The designer has used riding lawn mower in the design to communicate the nature of the business.

The designer has designed the logo in such a way that it serves perfectly for the marketing materials and all social media pages.
