It’s well verbalized by her when we talk about Australia bushfire. And, be assured that it’s not only about Australia, it’s also about us – The Whole World! Though Australia is no stranger to wildfires, this time, it’s reeling from the rage of bushfires; wreaking havoc that has affected more than a billion animals and razed the natural habitat.
The world is weary with sorrow with such gruesome losses of life with a fear that an estimated billion animals are killed and more on the urge to death due to starvation and loss of habitat. Bypassing each day, the bushfire has taken an unexpected and severe turn spreading across the 21 million acres of land and destroying more than 2500 homes.
Australia Bushfire hasn’t only affected the forest ground, but it also poses complex and wide-ranging problems along with weather and climate challenges. Extreme temperature, droughts, winds, storms, floods, and climate change are intersecting in ways that are difficult to untangle and address.
Reports state that Australia is experiencing one of the worst days in decades, a killing heatwave has broken the highest nationwide average temperature record; sweltering under temperatures well above 40 degrees Celsius (113-120 degrees Fahrenheit).
Weather experts forecasted that the climate has grown more extreme and worsened the impact of natural disasters. Each day adds up more pain to Australia’s dire situation where everyone around the world is offering everything from thoughts and prayers to support.
Several charities and a growing group of Hollywood A-listers like Chris Hemsworth, Celeste Barber, Kylie Minogue, Sir Elton John, etc. have pledged huge amounts of donation towards Australia’s bushfire relief efforts.
With the combined efforts, more than $100 million has been raised, directly reaches the local fire services and volunteers that are battling so hard on the frontlines.
