We welcome your bid to share a content piece on Designhill Blog. You can write on almost anything and everything, but we need you to keep certain things in mind and follow the guidelines for a better chance of acceptance. Your content must be related to some form of design or graphic art.
When you have curated a piece of content that we will be glad to publish, share it with us.
01. Well Researched & User-Friendly Content
Before writing, ensure the content is for humans, not search engines. It must be helpful for our audience (entrepreneurs, designers, and freelancers).
Create fresh, informative, engaging, and original content. Include references and links to high-authority sites supporting stats or data you’re putting. A suitable quote or opinion of well-known personalities can also be included in the 2nd paragraph.
02. Summary
Write an article excerpt in three or four sentences that hooks the readers. An excellent description of your post using the primary keyword ranks your post higher in Google searches and makes users scroll the page.
03. What to Write
You can write content about design and branding aimed at designers, entrepreneurs, and freelancers. Blogs with practical advice, how-to, tips, and opinions are most welcomed.

04. Language and Tone
Though we are open to a global audience, with users from all parts of the world, we prefer US English for narration and communication. So, write in US English, keeping the language simple so that even 10-year-old can read the post in one go.
As far as the tone is concerned, keep it friendly and fun to read. Adding links to our previous blog in your content would increase the chances of acceptance.

05. Content Quality
Your content must be grammatically correct, with a smooth flow and pleasant readability. And yes, the information or data you share in your content must be accurate and backed by reliable sources.
06. Word Count
Your submission must be at least 1500 words to get approved for publishing.
07. Fewer Links
The fewer links you include in the content, your article’s more acceptable. Make sure that each link is useful and relevant.
We don’t accept links to your site in the first two paragraphs. Only one do-follow link in the body is allowed.
08. Content Format
Your content must have a suitable Heading, H2 Titles, and Subheads wherever required.
09. Prohibited Content
We respect user preferences and strictly adhere to legal regulations. Therefore, we don’t allow certain kinds of content that include: Gambling, Betting, Casino, Adult, Porn, Dating, Criminal Activity, Cruel and Hateful, Pharmacy, and all illegal activities, links, and topics.
We may eliminate/remove all such content, links, or listing that we, in our sole discretion, find that it violates our Guidelines. We may also suspend/ban your account if we determine that you have violated our policy.
You can report abuse if you encounter any such content that violates our Guidelines.
Disclaimer:
It may take approximately one week to review and publish your article, as we practice a very selective process. Due to the high number of submissions, we may not respond to everyone. In case you are still waiting to receive a response from us within a week of submitting, it apparently means that your submission failed to meet our guidelines.
We’re not bound to give reasons or feedback about why your submission failed for publication. So, following up will not be required.
