Designs speak where words are unable to explain. It’s quite true when we talk about our designers. Designhill has been providing a wonderful platform to its creative designers where they can showcase their talent and bring out the best design concepts. Recently, we have conducted a contest “The Best Logo Concept for the United States Space Force in 48 Hours” with an amazing concept and a cash price.
US President Donald Trump unveiled the incorporation of the new Space Force Logo on 24th January 2020. USSF is the sixth branch of the U.S. Armed Forces which was created by his administration. It was officially established when President Trump signed the Fiscal Year 2020 National Defence Authorization Act into law on December 20, 2019.
The Resemblance: USSF Logo With Star Trek Logo
According to Star Trek fans, the new USSF logo is a ripoff that strikes similarities with the Star Trek Logo. For instance, the arrow, swirl around the arrow, text placement and star background are much identical to the original Star Trek logo. The netizen went crazy with this advancement; calling it a big NO.
Though, in a tweet, President Trump revealed that the new logo had been created after consulting with many Great Military Leaders, designers, and others. Instantly, it has become a huge topic of discussion on social media which has led to thousands of absurd memes getting viral every hour.
As expected, Star Trek actor George Takei and Star Wars actor Mark Hamil shared tweets about the new design stating “ There is nothing sacred anymore. Though the Star Trek vision was hopeful. Trump’s is the mirror image”, tweeted George Takei.
