Annual Gala Invitation for PHAMEtastic
This 1970s inspired gala event invitation is a nod the brilliant advertising of the time. I worked closely with the staff at PHAME, a nonprofit arts school for adults with I/DD, to create an engaging and exciting concept that allowed this event to take on it's own personality.
Jess has been designing for nonprofits, small businesses and startups for 8 years. I appreciate simplistic and clean aesthetics that use subtlety to speak volumes, and implement this principle in my work by using matte finishes and flat layers to create depth without complicating the design. My style relies on thoughtful typography, often using hand lettered elements and crisp imagery to build professional content.
