I discovered that my biggest passion was in illustration and surface pattern. I enjoy combining different techniques in a same project using simple and complex designs and simple tools. I am a freelance illustrator and a home maker. My mixed media illustrations are inspired by the natural world, my love of flora and fauna, folk motifs, nostalgia, sunlight and everyday life. Although my work is intricate and detailed, I am trying to capture the essence of my subjects and themes with visual balance, adding a quirky and modern interpretation to them.
