We often see procrastination and laziness as somewhat alike but we will explain why it is not.Not complying with your deadlines and slacking off is called laziness. On the other hand, procrastination is having a choice which to prioritize. We have a choice whether to finish the newly added project because it is easier than giving more time and attention to our main project which is a highly prioritized workload that takes a lot of time to finish. We often think carelessly that the lesser the time it needs to get done, the faster we can finish the workload and receive new projects. Because of this, it slowly eats up our time that is supposedly reserved for the most important tasks and can affect us monumentally. You can see a girl who fell asleep on her desk for staying up late. Her laptop is turned on and at the side of it is a trash bin full of crumpled paper that represents all her ideas so she can prepare the design properly. It is visible that the cup of coffee is placed at the top of one after another to help her get through the night. In front of her is a clock that says “5:36 am” indication that it is time to prepare for her 7 am class. At the top of it is a huge cup of coffee which represents a common phrase “sa sobrang puyat mo, pati yung kape mo napuyat na at kailangan na rin nitong mag kape” from some students who experience lack of sleep most of the time because or paperwork and workload.
