Rockabilly Cool Cats on Cream
The Rockabilly Cool Cats series is part of my Retro Cats Collection, inspired by my love of the retro/vintage palette and these classic designs. Rockabilly music, vintage-style cats, and retro shapes and colors comprise the repeated pattern motif in this fun print.
I am Barbara Marrs, a freelance fabric surface designer, graphic artist, and photographer based in Southern California, USA. After receiving a B.A. in Creative Arts from Rutgers University, I took post baccalaureate courses in both professional photography and fabric surface design, specializing in the shibori and tritik dye-resist methods. My resulting creations exhibit a wide variety of diverse motifs and styles, from minimalist abstracts to retro repeat patterns. As a fabric surface designer, I also welcome the opportunity to design patterns to order that meet your specific needs.
