Range Rover unveils a new logo after 55 years
After its model’s inception in 1970, Jaguar Land Rover unveiled a new logo after 55 years. The new emblem has been developed as a minimalist symbol for branding strategies where the standard Range Rover logo doesn’t fit.
The announcement is said to coincide with its preparation to launch the luxury car brand’s fully electric vehicles this year.
What’s unique about the latest Range Rover Emblem?
The new logo comes in an emblematic appearance with a minimalist “R” symbol denoting its JLR’s “House of Brands” unique brand strategy. Under this approach, the brand is intended to use the new emblem on wheel caps, interior elements, grilles, digital branding, and merchandise.
The new logo design signifies JLR’s take on brand identity transformation, giving a glimpse of the company’s evolving strategy.
Even with this transformation in brand identity, the company made it clear that the Land Rover brand name will always be an essential part of its operation, working like a “trust mark.”
