Designhill presents a series of inspirational stories to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit and motivate the new generation of entrepreneurs around the world during the COVID crisis.
In this video, we have shared the inspiring journey of an American entrepreneur, former Miss District of Columbia USA 2016, and the founder as well as COO of Cherry Blossom Intimates.
Meet JASMINE JONES.
Talking about her entrepreneurial journey, while watching her grandmother battle breast cancer, Jasmine Jones wondered why there weren't better options for survivors who needed to find bras for their post-mastectomy bodies. She decided to fill that void, partnering with a top breast surgeon to launch Cherry Blossom Intimates, a breast health facility and bra shop that uses post-mastectomy 3D chest wall scanning technology to create customized prosthetics in a boutique setting.
Since launching in October 2018, she and cofounder Dr. Regina Hampton, the country’s only breast cancer surgeon to receive a mastectomy fitter certification, have fitted 800 women for postmastectomy products and had over 3,500 customers. In this round, they raised over $1.2 million—bringing their total funding to about $1.7 million—to rethink their brick-and-mortar retail experience for a virtual world.
Watch her story and know about her unconditional contribution to women's society.
