Company Name: Native Resource Preservation llc

Clean, unique bright-dark color pallet. Looking for an original design, not just a name and generic symbol we could have already put together in Photoshop.

We are an ecological land restoration company who pride themselves with having a feet on the ground, light on the land mentality aka not using heavy machinery and instead using what we can carry in our hands, leaving nothing more than a footprint on the ground.

Our Mission: From the roots up we are grown from the philosophy of keeping our landscape free of unnatural disturbances and releasing the soils to power the native plants they were evolved to nourish. Unfortunately, history has left our scenery altered and some of land’s great resources struggling to push through a bright canopy. Through self-conscious footsteps and a nostalgic need for manual labor in the elements, it is our goal that with a LIGHT ON THE LAND philosophy we can work to Preserve our Native Resources.

Want a logo beyond just the name. Because Native Resource Preservation has become a mouthful and the occasional confusion with the word "Native" which refers to a native plant community has been misunderstood as Native Americans, we have started referring to ourselves as the abbreviation NRP. So incorporating NRP into the design would be preferred. Depending on the artist's idea possibly incorporate a white pine silhouette, oak leaf, and/or prairie grass. All of which represent the diverse plant communities of Minnesota and the Midwest. Not a necessity though, very open to anything original.

Would prefer some sort of art to be worked into the graphic. For example NRP wrapped into unique art that will be a one of a kind symbol. Or one of a kind art/symbol that can be put next to our name.
Potential slogan could be "Light on the Land" but isn't a requirement.
Potential room for full company name, but not required.

Most of our projects are through state and federal contracts. We also do a lot of work with private land owners who have set up a forest management plan with their county then contract us out.
