Paramount Plumbing

We are a "service" plumbing company in Metro Atlanta area where service plumbing is a highly competitive market and heavily advertised market for this area.
We provide commercial and residential plumbing services to all customers and have a primary focus of work with Property Management Companies that provide business for work in High-Rise buildings, Hotels, Shopping Centers, and property associations (HOA's). We provide these services currently with absolutely no advertising for the past 7 years and are looking to expand our business through advertising. We also do work for many residential customers throughout the area which is where advertising will have the largest impact on bringing in more business.

I am looking for a LOGO that becomes the recognizable symbol for the company and will become more recognizable than our current name. I am looking for something very simple and basic with a powerful and easily recognizable distinct shape that can be easily noticeable on vehicles, billboards, etc. through advertising. I am NOT interested in an overly fancy logo that takes away from being able to be recognized within 1 or 2 seconds from looking at it and is difficult to tell what it is or what it means in relation to our company.
I definitely want to have a "symbol" for the company that is very easily recognizable and looks very professional.
I am also not interested in most types of "plumbing" symbols being used in the logo. I am not looking for anything "hokey" looking or as a plumbing company especially due to our management clientele and I'm not looking for anything overly "cartoonish" looking either as many other plumbing companies use.
The colors we currently use are "red and blue" however I do also like some colors of a yellow(goldish) and gray look but colors aren't as big of a factor as the symbol of the logo itself and I have no issues changing our color scheme.
I am providing our current logo (I made 7 years ago :) ) and also another local plumbing companies image that does the most advertising in Atlanta and has a similar type of concept that I am looking for through simplicity and easy recognition WITHOUT the "plumbing" stuff put into it (pipe wrenches, water drops, etc.).
Also, I am not a huge fan of "mountains" on the logo. My current logo has them and the name of our company typically coincides with "mountains" however most logos with "mountains" I have seen I am not too keen on moving in that direction. If an idea that looks amazing is brought to me with the "mountains" I will definitely considerate it.
