    Please look at the three logo styles I have chosen for inspiration. Here's the point of the logo: I write about and photograph the blues music scene. I photograph in dark, cozy local venues and write personality profiles and stories about the musicians. I want the logo to be reflective of the fact that I write about and photograph the cool characters who inhabit the blues music scene: men and women who play (generally) bass; whining electric tones on the guitar and often times saxophones and electric harmonica. Some wear fedora or trilby hats (google them to see what they look like), the men often have goatees or mustaches and the women may or may not dress in a 40s style. BB King; Muddy Waters; Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald...these are some past blues musicians. As for myself, I am a curly haired, blue-eyed blonde and often wearing round wire-rimmed glasses. The photo subjects often wear sunglasses. The lighting in the venues is often very low light so the photographs look low-key with mostly shadowy images. Look up blues musicians and look at the photographs of them to help spark ideas on how to blend a unique creative idea. Look at some of the images in my design brief to see if that gives you any ideas.
