    Hi there! Thanks for taking a shot at this. I have absolutely no artistic skill whatsoever, so I'm going to do my best to describe what I want.

    Overall theme: I chose "Halcyon" for three reasons. First, it is an uncommon word; I don't mind if people need to look it up. Second, it represents what I'm doing with my business; a renaissance in my personal career trajectory. Third, my business exists to help clients experience a "halcyon" in their own lives: Prosperous, idyllic, joyful. Homeownership used to be far more affordable than it is now; and it is increasingly out of reach for many Americans. I want to help people realize this dream for themselves.

    Design theme: I prefer a clean-and-simple design. My primary market is Seattle, so a more modern look is preferred to anything abstract/flowery. I'm looking for a graphic logo with text to the right, or possibly below. Text is "Halcyon Home Loans," and in my head, all letters are capitalized, and the "Halcyon" is in larger front and above the "Home Loans," to keep everything compact. Font is modern / impactful, without looking futuristic. Business card and website will be on a white background, so color choices are darker. I'm thinking gold and some shade of darker grey. I'd like the "logo" bit of this to somehow play with the "H" in Halcyon, so it can stand on its own in various promotional materials, if needed. In my head, I think about a crest/shield with a dark background and an "H" in the center, but that's literally my one and only idea. I'm here for other ideas. :-)

    Media: Business cards, flyers, etc. It's gotta look good everywhere.

    Overall, I am very open to artistic interpretation, and invite you to show me what you've got!
