I'm decorating/designing a private space in my house here in Alaska for a regular poker game among oil industry friends. Obviously, "Black Gold" is a reference to crude oil (a LARGE source of revenue for Alaska). I'm looking for a classy/sophisticated logo to have printed on a custom felt for the poker table. Ideally, I will also be able to incorporate the logo (or an element(s) from it) on to the poker chips as well to tie the room all together. We're not rich, but I'm looking for a classy feel that will make the game feel like we're playing in a nice casino in Las Vegas such as the Bellagio. I would like the theme colors to be black and gold. Any play on the letters, "BG" would be fine, incorporating oil derrick images, oil, drips, plumes, gold, etc. are all fair game. I do not want the typical old west or 1800s gold minor fonts please. I like how the Black Gold League image incorporated a derrick, but I'm not crazy about how "sporty" it looks. The other two logos have more of the classy feel I'm going for. Having the gold blend and fade through the logo looks great, but I really like the simple fonts in the hair extension logo. I chose Travel and Hotel for the industry because I really like the clean, simple, elegant approach I saw on several of these logos.
