“I am a professional textile designer and digital artist from Belgium, originally from Pakistan, with 3 years of experience of using Photoshop. Moreover, I have worked with print designing based on various themes like foliage, floral, baby prints, Islamic Art, local buildings, women, village life, native American, Moroccan wedding art them, birds, marine life prints and tropical theme and have also created different products for apparel and household items. Apart from that, I create modern flat vector illustration & I also design professional logos, posters, flyers, celebration cards and digital paintings, and digital portraits with creativity to deliver the finest results. Since childhood, I have always had an interest in more creating stuff rather than being a bookworm. Therefore, I chose creativity for my carrier and a degree in Art and textile designing. Apart from designing, I am also a self-taught digital artist who creates digital portraits and painting and also have experience in graphic designing. I keep on creating illustrations, templates, logos, invitation cards and so on.”

PrintShop: What’s your process of creating a piece of artwork and what tools and techniques do you use?

Naima: My most strong and major tool is Adobe. From designs, prints to illustrations, portraits and graphic stuff, I create on Adobe software.

PrintShop: How do you find inspiration and stay creative?

Naima: I find inspiration from daily life. For example, being an observer, I do focus on details on issues or things happening around us and try to put them in my prints or art to convey a message through it.

Also, I keep on searching for the latest design contest and take part in them to have an idea of the latest ongoing art and design trends.

PrintShop: Did you face any challenges in your artistic journey? If yes, How did you overcome it?

Naima: When I started my degree in the artistic field, despite having an interest in the creative field I was still not sure if I’ll be able to do it or not. It was because of loads of pressure or doing better and creating the best stuff out of it.

Due to very high competition and making a unique artwork and design for every project was a great deal. But fortunately, I succeeded in all tasks and got better day by day in my Artistic life.

PrintShop: What is the best advice you’ve gotten as an artist or the most important thing you’ve learned?

Naima: Whenever you do Art, put your HEART in it. Just doing for the sake of completing a project won’t let you put 100 % creativity of you.
