    The Company: Blue Ox Overland creates unique camping vacations though the rental of fully equipped overland vehicles. Our goal is to get people exploring the woods, water & parks of the U.S. with powerful overland vehicles that serve as both a rental car and comfortable mobile hotel. Home is where you park it. We rent out what we’ve labeled as “nostalgia vehicles,” more specifically early model Toyota Landcruiser FJ62s.
    Our rigs are outfitted with high-end rooftop tents, propane cooktops, coolers, and every gadget needed for a successful camping/overlanding trip. Once parked, it takes only five minutes to set up camp. Renters need only to bring their clothes and toiletries. We make camping easy and fun.

    Target Customers: Adventurous couples, international tourists, weekend warriors

    Our name: Blue Ox Overland is a play on the Tall Tales of Paul Bunyan and his faithful blue ox, Babe (American Folklore). We are instilling confidence to the consumer that our vehicles are beasts. They are tough as nails and can traverse any type of land. We want our customers to return home with Tall Tales of their own adventures to share.

    The Logo: We'd like to include an Ox, a Toyota Landcruiser FJ62 with a rooftop tent (probably a silhouette or something cartoonish), "Blue Ox Overland" (Blue Ox can be bigger lettering than Overland), and probably some woods and water. The Ox can be stoic or playful, just not mean. Incorporating Paul Bunyan's traditional flannel is optional, but something we've talked about. We're hoping for something that is fun and screams "classic Americana." We are open to all suggestions from designers and look forward working with you!
