Detailed Design Brief:

1. How would you describe your services and/or products?
Nyamé is a premium lingerie brand for women (later lounge wear brand) for the age-group 23-35 years. Our lingerie is well crafted with exquisite laces and trims.

Nyamé is for a modern, confident, independent, fashion forward, bold, extremely self-conscious woman who likes to radiate her confidence & strength basis her “inner” beauty & sensuality.

2. What are the long-term goals of your company?
We would like to be one of most trendiest lingerie designers’ and lingerie brand. Our long-term goals are to be the most widely known and the most popular premium lingerie brand in India. We would gradually extend into the US and UK. We aim at being the number one choice of lingerie brand for women and men who want to gift their woman.

3. Who are your main competitors? Could you provide some links of their web-sites/logos.

4. How are you different from your competitors?
Designing, product elements (including quality) and positioning the brand (through various means) to portray a bold, independent and sensual woman would be the key differentiators. Nyamé would be perceived as a brand which a woman would like to wear out (intended)

5. What’s the age range of your target customer base?
23-35

6. What are 3 to 5 of your core values, values that your company stands for and that defines it. (Using words not phrases.)

7. Do you have a tag line? If so, would you like it stated along side your logo?
No we do not have. We can evaluate options for the tag line also while designing the logo.

8. Do you have any color preferences, or existing brand colors?
No. But I want some strong colors that are feminine and powerful but does not look like it’s for little girls. Through color\colors we expect to showcase feminism in the way we would describe - sensual, boldness, radiance, power, fiery (in a positive way) etc.

9. What adjectives should best describe your logo?
• Feminine
• Strong
• Bold

10. What feeling or message do you want your logo to convey to those who view it?
For someone viewing my logo I want it to look like it’s a product for women. It should come across as a very strong, bold product but I also don’t want it to say it’s lingerie explicitly. It needs to be delicate yet bold and powerful.

Lingerie, if made badly can pass off as cheap lingerie and does not look it's worth. So the materials have to be carefully picked. I want the same amount of exquisiteness to be represented in the logo.

For the symbol beside my logo I DO NOT want it to be the "N" symbol or a silhouette of lingerie. I'd like it to be something creative but again it shouldn't say lingerie explicitly.

PS: I'd love to experiment but just throwing in a few ideas:
-Minimalistic symbols (maybe?)
-Cursive fonts

If you feel something else would feel/ look more appropriate please feel free to experiment and throw in your ideas.
Also the logo will be used on the cloth tags which will be about 0.5" wide x 1.5 long, so it look should readable and appropriate in that size too or maybe just have a very strong symbol?
