DTG printing, or direct to garment printing, is a technique in which the digital image of your design is printed directly onto the garment.

As compared to screen printing, DTG printing offers a more efficient process. It is both cost-saving and time-saving and needs only one operator per machine.

You must also remember that some placement discrepancies may occur in DTG printing. Because of the human involvement in the process, such discrepancies can't be ruled out. Though we ensure accurate placements while arranging the shirts on the printing pallet, human errors can still be there. So, we set aside a slight shift of the graphic between 0.5" and 2".

But if the placement discrepancies exceed the pre-defined norm, we would take it as a human error and exchange it at our expense. In such a case, we recommend to contact the customer support team (support@designhill.com) and share the photo of the product laid out on a flat surface and the design measured horizontally/vertically.

Yes, you can print on the sleeves of your selected custom apparel. Designhill has recently introduced a feature to the new interface which lets customers, print on either of the sleeves, front, back, outside label, or inside label of their apparel. The process is extremely seamless. Just choose the t-shirt that you want to print and select one option (left sleeve or right sleeve) from the left panel. Now, you can add your artwork or text using the right panel. If you don’t have a design of your own, you can choose one from our library of artwork.

You're always advised to upload a high-resolution design for good quality printing. Make sure the design doesn't get blurred when uploaded. Your print files should be at least 150 DPI and at actual size. You can check the quality of your design by using DPI meter in the edit panel.

Direct-to-Garment: We usually use this technology to print the majority of our products but when the order is of less than six garments.
