After receiving such a great response for Designhill’s Design of the month award, it’s our pleasure to announce the winner today. It was difficult to pick one of the best designs, but the votes from fellow designers have made it easy for us. The winner who has received maximum number of votes for the month of April is Art-fj. He has received maximum number of votes for his ‘CycleRackr’ logo. Many congratulations to the winner!
If you are new to our community, let us tell you what exactly this contest is all about. Every month we present the top 11 designs and the top designers, chosen as winners by the clients in respective contests in a month.
The members of the community vote for their favorite design. The winning design, as well as the designer, gets a chance to be featured on our blog and social media platforms. They get exposure to our 150k+ followers, which enhance their value in the community.
CycleRackr (Designed by Art-fj)
CycleRackr provides its clients with a way to locate bicycle friendly businesses. Their target audience is cyclists who ride bikes as a form of everyday transportation. Keeping all that in mind the designer has come up with the image of a cyclist riding a bike in the logo.

The brand name has been put just below the image. The creative use of black and red colors in the design makes this logo stand apart from its competitors and gives it a position among Best 11 at Designhill.
Here Are The Rest Of Best 11 Designs For The Month Of April’19
01. Cobble Hill Apartments
Cobble Hill Apartments is a real estate company that helps their clients in getting their dream homes. The client wanted a logo that not only inspires but also can be marked as innovative. If you take a closer look at the logo, you will find that the icon has the initials of the brand – ‘C’ and ‘H’.

The brand name is placed beneath the icon. The green and black color in the logo represents growth, health, sophistication, and energy. The client received 204 designs, out of which this design was chosen as the winner.
02. Elizabeth Smith Realtor
While posting the contest, the client mentioned that she wanted her name to be used in the logo design. The designer has created a logo in such a way that it perfectly communicates that the brand is into real estate business. The use of different colors in the building icons immediately catches attention.

03. Heritage Fenceworks
The company distributes and installs fences to retail and commercial accounts. The client created a contest for a logo and business card design. He mentioned that he wanted to have a design that evokes the feeling of sophistication, craftsmanship, success, and harmony.

The designer has created an image of a shed that has been covered with the fences. The green color in the logo represents nature and growth, while the gold color signifies luxury, heritage, sophistication, value, and elegance. The client received 352 entries, out of which this business card design was chosen as the winner.
04. Village Creek Brewing Company
Sonia Anderson was clear about what she wanted – the creek in the design with the inclusion of wheat/barley springs/hops. The designer has beautifully fulfilled all the requirements. The logo features the name of the company (Village Creek) inside the circle. Under the name, Naveen (the designer) has given the image of water.

Around the circle, the sheaf of wheat has been drawn, and in the top middle of the circle, the image of hops has been given. ‘Brewing Company’ has been written outside the circle. The client received 184 entries for the designs, out of which Naveen took home the winner award.
05. The Little Harkley Company
The brand is into kids’ clothing. The client wanted to have Boho and a vintage-inspired logo for her business. The designer has created a design that features a colorful floral wreath.

The name of the company has been positioned inside the wreath. Overall the design provokes the feeling of sweet, vintage, and upscale. Out of 112 entries, it was Mariam Ashraf who took home the winner award.
06. Pablito’s Mexican Grill
While posting the contest, the client mentioned that he wanted to have a logo that is fun, exciting, modern and most importantly memorable. To fulfil all the requirements, the designer has incorporated the image of a colorful parrot wearing a hat.

Behind the parrot, he has drawn a circle with the same colors. Overall, he succeeded in making the brand stand apart from competitors and here you see the logo that was picked as a winner. And we have selected it as one of the Best 11 at Designhill.
07. Mitigation Consultants
The client wanted to have a circular logo with ‘MC’ prominent in it. He also mentioned that he wants a logo that represents ecological balance and environment enhancement. The designer has designed infrastructure items (bridge, roads) and cityscape inside the circle.

The mountain has been given the shape of the letter ‘M’ and the ocean wave has been given the shape of letter ‘C’, making both the letters prominent in the design.
The brand name has been placed outside the inner circle. The contest received 145 designs, out of which the client chose this design as a winner.
08. Urthstone LLC
The brand is into real estate and mortgage industry. This emblem logotype features the initial of a company name that is being interlocked in different colors. Inside the image, a small image of gemstone has been created by using the same colors. During the contest, all the designers came up with the best designs, but it was ‘Logodesire’ who took home the winner award.

09. ALIXí HERB ALCHEMY
The client launched the contest for packaging design. The designer has come up with the design that sets the perfect balance between the cannabis ‘subculture’ enthusiast, and the low key, upscale professional clientele. And this is what the client wanted. Out of 116 entries, Yoga Budi took home the winner award.

10. Blue Toro
While posting the contest, the client mentioned that they wanted a logo that looks cool, modern, funky and fun. Since the brand is into selling Burritos and Tacos, the designer has created a logo by combining the shape of both the eateries.

The blue color has been used to represent professionalism and trust. Out of 108 designs, Deux took home the winner award and also made it to the list of the Best 11 at Designhill.
