Here Is A Look At The New Jerseys Launched By Some Teams For The T20 World Cup 2022
01. India
India unveiled their World Cup jersey on September 18. The blue color continues to be a favorite for this tournament and appears in two shades: sky blue and dark blue. The sleeves are in a darker shade of blue, while light blue dominates the color scheme.
While launching the new jersey, The BCCI, in its tweet, said, “To every cricket fan out there, this one’s for you. Presenting the all-new T20 Jersey – One Blue Jersey,”
02. Australia
Australian team’s jersey for one-dayers has traditionally been yellow for the background. So, yellow was always a dominant color of the jersey. However, for the sake of variations and to identify one event from the other, the jersey had a combination of different colors.
This time, the Australian jersey has yellow as its primary color with a combination of black. The kit has the WC T20 Logo on the top right side of the shirt. And The Cricket Australia team logo appears on the left of the shirt. The pants will be in black, while the cap will have features of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags on the brim.
Another feature of the cricket jersey is that it uses an indigenous-themed kit for the first time in the event of this scale. There are green and gold gradients on the top’s trunk. The sleeves and cap are black. The indigenous theme is for recognizing the indigenous Australians for their contribution to sports in the country.

03. England
England also has revealed its new jersey for the World Cup recently. It is in the red color scheme. The shirt has the logo of the National Flag of England.
The sponsor’s name is printed on the shirt’s front and back sides. On the rear side, the name of the player and sponsor appears.
Once again, the former champions upgraded their red kit with the three lions at the heart of the bespoke design.
The kit manufacturers sought inputs from players, including Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler, to ensure the kits helped enhance the on-field performances.
04. Pakistan
The tournament jersey of the Pakistani team retains its conventional green color. But there is a touch of yellow on the chest. Also, some long green and light green stripes are noticeable patterns representing movement and ambition. The jersey also has “ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Australia 2022” on the left side.
05. New Zealand
New Zealand launched its WC 2022 jersey in a combination of ash and black. The upper half is printed in ash, while the bottom half is in black. The country’s name appears prominently between two parallel lines on the middle front. New Zealand’s logo design, the silver fern, is on the left side of the shirt. The World Cup’s representation is on the right side of the jersey.
Moreover, the jersey has a retro look that gives the impression of the shirts that used to be worn by teams in the early 90s.
06. United Arab Emirates
The UAE jersey moves away from its traditional color scheme. In this tournament, the jersey is bright, magenta and blue. The jersey makeover is a total departure from its conventional black color scheme.
The new magenta and blue colors for the 2022 T20 World Cup are ‘inspired by the UAE’S beautiful winter,’ says the Emirates Cricket Board. The board has retained the core design elements of the jersey, but this time it shifted away from the primary colors to symbolize the country’s progressive future. The new jersey design also aligns well with the modern world’s sports and business landscape.
So, these countries have launched their T20 World Cup 22 jersey. More of them will come up with exciting t-shirt designs for the cup in the coming days.
